Liberal Democracy Nepal (LDN) Feedback Board

"This initiative is a very welcome and promising one, which should open some important new directions for overcoming the terrible and painful problems that have engulfed Nepal in recent years, and leading the way to a decent future."

Looks great, congratulations on getting it up and running! It should be a great forum for scholarly exchange on the issues of development and democracy.

I want to thank you for your initiative. I have just had a short look at the LDN website. I am deeply impressed. I absolutely in agree with your definitions and statements on liberal democracy under FAQ. Please see me as one of LDN's friends from the rest of the world. When I get a chance I will also send contributions and comments to LDN.

I heartily support your initiation and would like to thank you for sharing it with me also.

I would also like to suggest you to feature Prof. Krishana Bhattachan, Dr. Hark Gurung, Gore Bahadur Khapangi, Prof. Kamal Prakash Mall's opinions also. These four academics, intellectuals, and leaders have tremendous impact on our efforts for social engineering of Nepal.

First of all please accept my congratulation for launching of LDN. I will be very delighted to join LDN. I have been through LDN home page and found that people must have freedom to express their views on the current issues about Nepal. It is my immense pleasure to say that sharing the views and ideas together in order to solve the present crisis of our motherland will be a grate contribution.

Congratulations and all the best wishes for the LDN launch!

If any invention has "leveled the playing field" in modern times, "the Internet" has certainly led the way. Feeling of empowerment and opportunity of equal access to express is an incredible human liberating vehicle ?

As Nepalis, we must learn that competing ideas are the original source of creation, the Brahma. And we must learn to accept that competing ideas may and will come from our friends and colleagues. That is fine. That is fine because it makes them our healthy opponents, NOT our eternal ENEMIES.

And right in the middle of those competing ideas, lies the tremendous opportunity to learn from each other, to forge lasting consensus and to build or help build THIS NATION CALLED NEPAL.

So - please accept my congratulations again and let the scratching of some of that - the gray matter - BEGIN!!!

I heard of the launching of the LDN Forum. Congrats! I hope it serves as a forum where all Nepalese from all sections can give their views. I hope we get to hear the real debate behind the meaning of "full democracy" instead of using it to serve a narrow political interest. Slogans alone do not solve the real problems of the real people.

I see the website, and it is quite good. I appreciate your work. One thing i would like to suggest you it don't make this forum just the forum of so called big political parties. There are lots of other smaller parties who have contributions to the democracy much more than the so-called mainstream parties.

Glad you've got it off the ground! Congrats! Now it is important to sustain the momentum. I am more than willing to contribute and help. Jai Hos!

I want to compliment on your efforts and am happy to join it. Any thing I can do for you here in India will be a pleasure.

LDN is an excellent idea and is put together so well. Congratulations to all known and unknown individuals who are dedicating their valuable time and making a positive mark towards the ultimate good of the Nepali people at home and abroad. This is overwhelming. I have a very positive feeling about this project, and am deeply moved. I may not be a regular contributor, but I promise to keep in touch.
